TONYA HARRIS WENT FROM CHILDHOOD LEUKaEMIA TO CREATING A TOXIC-FREE METHOD FOR EVERYONE!
Tonya Harris has a Master’s Degree of Science in Holistic Nutrition, is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition, and is an award-winning Environmental Toxicity Specialist with a certificate from the Integrative Medicine Academy. As a childhood leukaemia survivor, she’s passionate about eradicating the toxins that surround her. As the mother of a child with ADHD and another with learning disabilities, she discovered that by eliminating toxins in her home she saw a drastic change for the better in both. Now she dedicates her time and efforts in helping others do the same.
Tonya’s book The Slightly Greener Method is written for those who are seeking an environmentally friendly lifestyle that will protect their health long-term but are not sure whereto start. Her method revolves around three main areas of the home: the kitchen (food and beverages), bathroom (personal care products and cosmetics), and cleaning products.
Today, Tonya talks to Nicolette about cleaning up your environment from your home, to your workplace, to your kid’s school. She shares why you don’t need to start strong and why slow is better. Tonya helps you understand that knowing your WHY is the important first step in cleaning up your life. Listen to learn about Tonya’s READ method and how she empowers people (including kids) to make their own choices. If you want to reduce your toxic bucket overload and learn what to avoid then this podcast is for you.
