Dr robynne chutkan breaks down the gut
Dr. Robynne Chutkan is a board-certified gastroenterologist and the author of the digestive health books: Gutbliss, The Microbiome Solution, & The Bloat Cure. Her most recent book: The Anti-Viral Gut: Tackling Pathogens From the Inside Out, focuses on the importance of gut-based defenses for improving resiliency to viruses. Dr. Chutkan went to Yale, completed medical school and residency at Columbia, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Hospital in NY. She's on the faculty at Georgetown Hospital and the founder of the Digestive Center for Wellness.
A former Board member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), Dr. Chutkan has authored several scientific articles and book chapters, and been a featured expert on The Today Show, CBS This Morning, The Doctors, and other media outlets. She is an avid runner and yogi, and is passionate about introducing more dirt, sweat, and vegetables into people's lives.
